Every snort, cluck, woof, and meow has a story.
Welcome to the heart of The Cluffs—our animals. They’re not just animals... they’re characters. Survivors. Personalities with preferences (and very strong opinions about snack time).
Some of them came to us injured, abandoned, or forgotten. Others just wandered into our lives (and sometimes our garage). But no matter how they arrived, they’re family now. And trust us, they each bring something special to the chaos.
From Dwight the Pig, who somehow became our mascot-slash-celebrity, to our elderly dogs, chickens with drama, and cats who rule the house… every single one of them has a story worth telling. Some will make you laugh. Some might make you cry. And all of them will remind you why second chances matter.
What We Believe:
- That animals deserve love, safety, and treats
- That living animals isn’t always glamorous—but it’s always worth it
- That a pig in a diaper can still live his best life
- That if you’re capable—get up
Who You’ll Meet:
- Dwight the Pig: Fashion icon. Mud enthusiast. Professional camera-hog.
- Binx aka Schtink: Former stray, now queen of the household (and our bed).
- The Dogs: Senior sweethearts, loyal shadows, and snack security.
- The Pigs: Some are thriving, one’s in diapers, and all are full of opinions.
- Chickens, Cats, a Gecko, and a Tarantula: Yes, it’s a whole situation.
How You Can Help:
- Shop our merch (Dwight looks GREAT on a tote)
- Share their stories
- Laugh with us. Cry with us. Be part of this messy, magical mission.
- Follow us on socials!
Binx
We found Binx in the garage, and she’s been running the household ever since. She sleeps in our bed all day, drinks ice water twice a day (yes, really), and gets allergen-reducing food because Chris is allergic—but she doesn’t care.
She only wants love when and how she feels like it, and she keeps the other cats in line with a single glare. She’s never stepped foot outside again... and frankly, she wouldn’t be caught dead out there.
Dwight the Pig
Dwight isn’t just a pig. He’sthe pig. Mascot, mood, and main character of The Cluffs. He loves stealing the spotlight, and casually reminding us who's in charge. Dwight wears diapers (medical reasons), but we’re convinced it’s also for style. He’s got a fan club. And yes, we’re in it.
Harley
Don’t let the size fool you—Harley runs the show. He’s a 7-pound terrier mix with main character energy. The other animals like him… but also kind of fear him.
He’s the most spoiled of the bunch—frequent car rides, front row seats on vacations, and more pup cups than his little body can handle. And honestly? He deserves every one.
Gemma
Gemma was returned to a breeder when her first family decided pigs were too much—so we brought her home, and she never looked back. Now? She’s the undisputed queen of the pig pen. The others cower. She struts.
But don’t be fooled—under all that boss energy is a marshmallow who melts for belly rubs. She’s so gentle, she can take a single grain of rice from your hand without ever touching you with her teeth.
David, Eleanor, and Primrose
David came to us with zero human contact—but now he’s basically a puppy in a pig suit. He’s all about belly rubs and snacks (any kind, he’s not picky).
Primrose is our gentle mama pig. She’s the friendliest of the bunch and takes care of everyone—if there’s snuggling to be done, the pigs go straight to her.
Eleanor is Prim’s sister and our little miracle. Shy and skittish, she almost didn’t make it after a serious fungal infection, but with lots of TLC (and a rockstar vet), she pulled through. She’s quiet, sweet, and stronger than she looks.
These three may be different, but together—they’re all heart.
Ruger and Maggie May
Ruger was rescued from the streets and is now the most loyal protector you could ask for… unless you’re a pig, a cat, or a delivery guy. He’s sweet to his humans, but let’s just say he’s the reason we have “Beware of Dog” signs on the gate.
Maggie Mae is our wiggly basset with a heart of gold. Her tail never stops, and she wants to mother every creature on the property—whether they like it or not.
One keeps us safe. The other keeps us soft. Both are exactly where they’re meant to be.
Rip
Rip is the strong, silent type… unless there’s food involved. He gives cowboy energy—cool, collected, and probably judging you—but deep down he’s a total softie with a thing for head scratches and long naps in the sun.
He's loyal to a fault, serious about his routines, and prefers calm over chaos (which makes him a bit of an oddball around here). But once he bonds with you? You’re his person. Forever.
Penny Lane
Meet Penny Lane, our 120-pound couch potato and resident snuggle queen.
She’s the most passive animal we have—zero drama, maximum love. As long as she’s got a soft spot to nap and someone to love on her, she’s living her best life.
She gets along with everyone (even the chickens), and honestly, we’re not sure who rescued who
Talula
Meet Talula, our second daughter’s rescue and full-time cuddle bug.
She may be tiny, but her love is extra large. All she wants is to be snuggled, cuddled, and carried around like the baby she knows she is. She’s pure sweetness wrapped in fur—and we’re all a little obsessed.
Juno
Meet Juno, our bonus cat who came home with our bonus daughter.
She’s a sweet, quiet girl still finding her place in the chaos. She just recently worked up the courage to explore downstairs—but she's definitely not sold on the Great Danes yet.
She’s gentle, observant, and slowly learning that this loud, muddy, love-filled house is her forever home too.
Marco
Meet Marco, our second problem child and full-time lovable mess.
Our daughter met him at the shelter and fell head over heels—and he’s been ours (and especially our oldest’s) ever since. He’s all energy, all heart… and maybe two brain cells, but they don’t talk much.
He wants to play with everyone, chews anything he can reach, and lives life at full speed. But that goofy love? 100% genuine.
Millie Rae
Meet Millie Rae, our newest rescue and certified shadow.
She was abandoned and ended up at the shelter, but now she’s home—over 100 pounds of nervous, gentle love. She follows us everywhere, just happy to be included, and wants affection all day, every day.
She’s still figuring things out (especially Dwight and the cats... it’s a work in progress), but her heart is pure gold. She doesn’t care what’s going on—she’s just grateful to be here.
